Mohsin Zameer
This was my learning internship, by learning internship I mean that one does spend his time in some organization just for the sake of learning, not to meet the degree requirement criteria of having one internship, most likely in your 3rd year, during an under-graduation program.
Finally I gathered all my will to say this to me that fine DUDE let me experience this part of life, definitely it would be a great experience. The main reason of this inner satisfaction was this that I had heard a good name and responses about the organization and its culture before I witnessed it on my own.
Here comes the first day of internship, I went to the office early in the morning as I wanted to be punctual and for this, I had to set alarm not only in my mobile but also in table clock, along with this dedication I had told everyone in the family to awake me early in the morning. hmm... Deciding what to wear was also a point of discussion between me and my family.
Reaching the office, meeting the person who interviewed me was a nice. I was sent to my desk, waited some time for computer installation and finally ready to perform any task that was to be given. I really enjoyed different kinds of assignments that were given to me, some of them were difficult as they took even a day or more. Meeting different people, asking them about their work, telling them about myself was a normal practice. It is may be due to the fact that being a new face anywhere calls your repeatedly telecasting of your basic information time after time.
Soon I developed good understanding with many employees there and started enjoying office life and activities as I didn't hesitate to sit longer if there was any work, coming to office in hard days (includes extreme rain falls and shutter down strikes) and ready to work over any assignment. Working with the company on the on-field projects was also interesting and dynamic task that it daily called for corporate lunch...Hmm. May be this whole enthusiasm is just because of the fact that I had met those employers who care for their employees, those seniors who respect their juniors and most importantly learning, and knowledge matters from wherever it comes.
Today at my 42nd day (last day of six week internship) I am gathering compliments, love from them and remembering all those moments that I had spent within last 42 days. These memories shall surely be with me through out my life. Life has quite changed at my side, learned several things and understood a lesson that at the end of the day honesty, dedication, loyalty and character lasts no matter what circumstances and conditions one has at a specific time.
It was great to have you here Mohsin! :) We will definitely remember your enthusiasm and charisma. Wish you all the best in life. :)
